The world bosses below are found on pre-expansion planets and are generally easier to complete than post-expansion world bosses, even with unbalanced groups. However, SD-0 and the Rogue Cartel Warbot are notable for their near instant kill mechanics (which are negated by staying out of melee range/distant from other group members).
Name and Location | Mechanics |
---|---|
The First (Imperial Only) Lord Grathan’s Estate, Dromund Kaas (X 200, Y 1643) | Enrage at 20% health, dealing increased damage. |
SD-0 (Republic Only) Old Galactic Market District, Coruscant (X 2500, Y 999) | Places stacking debuff on the tank, increasing damage taken by 3% per stack. Connects two raid members with a Proximity Laser that deals more damage the closer they are to each other. 8 min enrage. |
Subject Alpha (Republic Only) Bell Sediment, Taris (Republic) (X -450, Y 700) | Tosses tank into air, dropping aggro. Places AoE on random raid member. |
Grandfather (Imperial Only) Markaran Plains, Balmorra (Imperial) (X -1900, Y 1300) | Has a frontal cleave and melee-range AoE. 10 min enrage. |
Trapjaw The Dune Sea, Tatooine (X -1700, Y 410) | Periodically hits a random raid member with a 10m AoE that deals high damage and has a 2 second stun. |
Battledroid R4-GL Network Security District, Nar Shaddaa (X 2000, Y 2800) | Has a high-damage attack that is interruptible pre-50%. Has a second attack that targets a random raid member, both applying a DoT and healing debuff. |
Ulgo Seigebreaker Glarus Valley, Alderaan (X 300, Y -200) | Try to avoid the red circles put out on this fight. They are difficult to see as they appear under the water. Also has two interruptible attacks that target random raid members, one of which is an AoE. |
Rogue Cartel Warbot Quesh (X 300, Y 200) | Avoid the many circles going out. Boss will also throw a grenade at a random player, dealing AoE damage. This boss begins a channel at 10%, after which it will explode, killing anyone nearby. |
The Ancient One (Imperial Only) The Sinking City, Taris (Imperial) (X -800, Y -700) | Has a conal knockback that is interruptible. Adds will spawn every 10% health lost. |
Snowblind Glacial Fissure, Hoth (X 400, Y 1100) | Boss has a powerful frontal cleave. Will also periodically disappear. Group for AoE heals during this time, as a snowstorm will deal raid-wide damage. |
Gargath Clabburn Tundra, Hoth (X -2100, Y 400) | Has an earthquake attack (preceded by an announcement “Gargath is expanding his focus beyond his main target.”) that deals large damage to nearby players. |
The Primal Destroyer The Tomb, Belsavis (X -450, Y -3450) | Be sure NOT to kill any of the adds until the boss is dead. Doing so will drastically increase the outgoing damage. |
Lucky Coronet Zoo, Axial Park, Corellia (X 828, Y –2511) | Avoid circles and try to interrupt any channels. |
